I am a University of Canberra soon to be graduate, with a Bachelor of Communications and Media (Journalism) degree, including a breadth major in Forensic and Legal Psychology.

I have a keen interest in producing thoughtful, and inspiring stories for our nation’s capital. With experience across multimedia platforms, I especially enjoy developing interesting, relevant and authentic feature articles.

Australians & Hollywood: an exhibition showcasing moments in Australian cinema

When people think of movies, most think of Hollywood. However, it’s important to not overlook the amazing cinematic work that is created and developed in Australia’s own backyard. The ‘Australians & Hollywood: A tale of Craft, Talent, and Ambition’ exhibition at @nfsaonline showcases amazing Australian cinema and the people who helped make it a reality. With rare looks at behind the scenes moments, props, costumes and much more, this exhibition immerses the viewer in the making of many iconic Australian films.

In Canberra, support for The Greens is on the rise after the party won a historically high number of seats at the most recent Legislative Assembly elections. ACT Senate candidate, Dr Tjanara Goreng Goreng, has been an academic, unionist, whistle-blower, and senior public servant, and is a First Nations woman who believes in challenging the system. I sat down with Dr Goreng Goreng, to discuss her journey, initiatives, policies, and advice to voters.

‘All Too Well’ by Taylor Swift – A Ten Minute Hit

Taylor Swift’s re-released ‘All Too Well’ has become the longest song to ever reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 USA music chart. Accompanied by a short film, directed and written by non-other than Taylor Swift, the song connects with listeners as it takes you through the relatable journey of young heartbreak. The Owl’s Elly Collie says the new version delivers what Swift fans have always wanted but never got to hear the first time around.
